The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Warriors Party

Since the launch of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master Brennan Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with rich lore, a diverse cast of heroes, and a exciting storyline featuring angels, fiends, and dark forces increasing in power within the urban setting.

Note: Key plot points for Episode 3 of the new season follow below.

The Warrior Group Introduced

The latest chapter concluded with a major cliffhanger and introduced the first table of adventurers who will split off from the primary party to begin their independent quest, apart from the additional parties.

The combat-focused team features the determined fighter (played by Travis Willingham), Thimble (Laura Bailey), Tyranny (Whitney Moore), Wicander Halovar (Sam), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie Daymond).

The Reason for Division

Considering 13 cast members, it was obvious from the beginning that having everyone at a single group would be impossible.

Hence, the initial installments of the new season serve as an Prelude, intertwining the individual narratives before splitting into three separate parties: Warriors, Schemers, and Explorers.

Characteristics of the Warrior Group

As described by the DM, the Soldiers table is for adventurers who prefer a traditionally charged battle-oriented story mode where peaceful solutions are scarce.

Initially, characters like the hesitant healer Wicander Halovar might appear unsuited, but the actions of the latest installment make it clear why these specific adventurers are perfectly fit for the combat party.

Why They Must Go

First, the party knows exactly where to go next after a brutal initial meeting with the antagonists.

A former ally of Thjazi—whose passing kicked off the campaign’s events—used the foes for his selfish purposes, breaking into the hidden lair, assaulting Thimble, and taking all the enchanted items to sell off.

The traitor then paid off his liabilities and ran away to a fortified location in the remote area, above Dol-Makjar, with Teor’s brother pursuing him.

Personal Motivations

Secondly, each character has a specific drive to leave the city Dol-Makjar:

  • The rogue, as the companion and closest confidant, wants retribution.
  • Kattigan is familiar with the northern area and advises that it is a hostile environment.
  • Tyranny and The healer, having defied his family’s wishes to kill the target and instead freed him, have no other options.
  • However, their reputation as key figures in the powerful family could assist the party access areas they normally couldn’t.
  • Additionally, The grateful character vowed a life debt to The cleric for his deliverance and will now go with him everywhere.

Fugitives

Finally, all of them are wanted by the rulers that control the city for a multiple motives, making remaining behind dangerous:

  • The rogue and The character are known criminals.
  • The warrior and The healer betrayed House Halovar and the army of fiends they are partnered with.
  • Teor is targeted for elimination by the family.

This means them no alternative but to journey toward the northern region in quest for the traitor.

Upcoming Developments

According to the recent installment’s Cooldown, we learn that the Soldiers table won’t be around next week, leaving the other eight cast members to assemble the Seekers and Strategists tables.

Audiences can expect learning which characters will be assigned to which table in the story’s concluding setup installment, available to watch on next week.
