As his contract set to expire in the summer, January is the club's final opportunity to obtain a fee for their captain. A host of elite sides, such as City and multiple continental powerhouses including Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, and Barcelona, reportedly be interested. However, a winter departure is considered difficult, especially given the coach's reliance on the defender.

B. Johnson

The Welsh forward has had starting opportunities limited at Spurs this term. Despite finishing as the club's top scorer last season, Johnson has started only a small number of Premier League matches. Reports suggest the North London outfit would be willing to consider a sale for the correct price, thought to be in the region of forty million pounds. Bournemouth appear to be leading the chase, with Crystal Palace, Aston Villa, and Brentford additionally showing an inquiry.

This Portugal midfielder might be poised for a comeback to the English top flight following a period in Saudi Arabia.
