In a bizarre crossover event that challenges conventional forecasts, the game developer has unveiled an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Mission Disclosed

According to the authorized announcement, "A strange encounter draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where whispers of forbidden rituals and monstrous metamorphoses reverberate through the obscurity." The storyline introduces a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who charges the characters with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a hidden group.

The mission focuses on "bizarre tests and a monstrous adversary" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Familiar Places and Metamorphoses

The preview features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser concludes with a dramatic sequence showing a character, probably the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Rewards and Extra Material

Players who successfully complete the mission will receive an unique katana together with numerous artifacts concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
